In 2011, BankTennessee established the John S. Wilder Law School Scholarship to award a third-year University of Memphis law student who demonstrates a commitment to public service. The scholarship was founded to honor the memory of our former bank board member who also served the State of Tennessee for 44 years, including 36 years as lieutenant governor and house speaker.
