In banking for more than 30 years, her most recent accomplishment was with Regions Bank as assistant branch manager and was the 2005 recipient of the Chairman’s Club Award for exceeding profit requirements. Previously, she was at First Citizens National Bank and Bank of Ripley. Mitchell began her banking career at First American Bank, Milan in 1981.
Mitchell is a graduate of Dyersburg State Community College with an Associates of Science in banking and a graduate of the American Institute of Banking with a General Banking Diploma.
A resident of Halls, Tenn., she is married to Greg Mitchell and has a daughter Jennifer Buntin. Mitchell is a member of Halls First United Methodist Church in Halls.
